Anchor Allied Health is designed to solve one specific problem: finding a mental health professional who actually has capacity to see you.

Unlike standard directories that just list names and numbers, our platform tracks Live Availability. This saves you from making dozens of phone calls only to be told “our books are closed.”

The 3-Step Process

1. Search by Location

Enter your suburb or postcode in the search bar. The map will zoom to your area and show nearby clinicians.

2. Check the “Traffic Lights”

Look at the map pins. We use a simple color-coded system to show availability instantly:


  • Green (Pulsing): Immediate Availability (< 7 days).

  • Blue: Short Waitlist (approx. 4-6 weeks).

  • Orange: Long Waitlist (6+ weeks).

3. Connect Directly

Click a profile to see their full bio, fees, and areas of interest. You can email or call them directly from the page. We do not charge commissions or act as a middleman.

Understanding Fees

We believe in financial transparency. You can use the “Filters” button on the map to specifically look for:

  • Bulk Billing: Providers who accept the Medicare rebate as full payment (no gap fee).
  • NDIS Participants: Providers registered to support NDIS participants.
  • Private Health: Most listed providers allow you to claim rebates via your private health fund.

Telehealth & Remote Access

If you cannot find a provider in your immediate suburb, try zooming out or selecting the “Telehealth” filter.

Many of our listed psychologists and social workers offer secure video consultations, allowing you to access top-tier support from the comfort of your home, regardless of where you live in Australia.

Verification & Safety

Every provider listed on Anchor Allied Health goes through a manual verification process. We check their registration number against the relevant national board (AHPRA, AASW, or SPA) to ensure they are qualified and currently registered to practice.
